AI Video Summaries
Archivarix Tube Search can generate AI-powered summaries of YouTube videos — including deleted ones, as long as subtitles are available. Each summary includes a TL;DR, key points with timestamps, a detailed summary, and auto-generated topic tags.
What You Get
- TL;DR — a concise one-paragraph summary of the entire video
- Key Points — important moments with clickable timestamps that link to the exact position on YouTube
- Detailed Summary — a comprehensive breakdown of the video content
- Tags — auto-detected topics for easy browsing and discovery
- Multi-language — summaries are generated in the language of the video's subtitles

How to Generate a Summary
Public vs. Private Summaries
Public summaries (default for Plus users) are visible to everyone and appear in the summary browse page and search results.
Private summaries (available for MCP + API tier) are visible only to you. They are stored separately and won't appear in public listings or sitemaps.
To switch between public and private mode:
- Go to your Profile → Account tab
- Find the "AI Summary Generation" section
- Toggle between Public and Private
All summaries you generate appear in your Profile → Summaries tab, where you can switch between viewing public and private summaries.
Requirements
- Subtitles must be available — the AI generates summaries from subtitle text. Videos without subtitles cannot be summarized.
- Live videos — subtitles are fetched on-demand from YouTube via yt-dlp.
- Deleted videos — only if subtitles were previously fetched and saved in our database. You can check by looking for the "Subtitles" link in search results.
- Video duration — very short videos (under 1 minute) or extremely long ones (over 3 hours) may be filtered out by the pre-filter.

Visit the AI Video Summaries page to browse all public summaries. You can filter by:
- Language — find summaries in English, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, and more
- Topic tags — comedy, education, gaming, travel, and dozens of other categories
- Channel — see all summaries from a specific YouTube channel
- Search — full-text search across summary titles and tags
